Lord, Send a Revival

Have you found yourself shaking your head at the news, wondering how the world got so messed up?

Do you toss and turn at night, worrying over the future?

Are you questioning where God is and why He doesn’t seem to be doing anything about the turmoil in the world?

The news can be overwhelming. Sometimes, it seems as though God has turned a deaf ear to the cries of His people. Has God given up on His church? Why doesn’t He move in the same ways He did during Bible times? Hebrews 13:8 assures us that, ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.’ Despite what the world looks like, despite the turbulence that the church seems to be experiencing, despite the struggle to keep the faith, God hasn’t changed. He is still present and active in the world today. We can have confidence that He hasn’t abandoned the church.

As we face unprecedented times in our nation’s history, the church must continue to look to God for guidance and direction. Now, more than ever, we must be a light in the darkness and bring the message of salvation and hope to a lost world.

If you’ve ever wished for a return to the ‘good ole’ days’, or thought, ‘What this nation needs is a revival!’, mark your calendars for September 23 – 25 as Tampa Shores Community Church hosts an Old Fashioned Revival.
