In this passage we are privileged to have a peek behind the curtain to see what is about to happen just prior to the return of Christ to establish His kingdom. It will be a time just before the great judgment of God being released upon a sin sick world. …Job 21:30

The Reasons for the Bowls of Judgment…vs1

  •  For the vindication – Stated or Implied….vs2

The Lord Jesus is going to be vindicated as He judges the sinners and avenges His people

  • For the impunity …v3-4

The character of God is holy and His character demands a holy and final reaction against sin.

John writes:
And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
O Lord God, the Almighty;
Righteous and true are Your ways,
King of the nations!
“Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy;
For all the nations will come and worship before You,
For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
Jews tradition recognizes ten biblical songs.
1. Adam’s song at his forgiveness.
2. The song of Moses at the Red Sea.
3. The Israelites song when given water in the desert.
4. Moses song at his death.
5. Joshua’s song at Gibeon.
6. The song of Barak and Deborah.
7. Hannah’s song when God gave her a son.
8. The song of David
9. The song of Solomon’s
10 The song of the captives freed by the Messiah.
But notice an 11th song also mention here in verse 3
The song of the Lamb
The first song they sung was “The song of Moses”…Exd. 15
The last reason for the Bowl of Judgments is found in verses 5-7.
